Fundraising: Day at the Races

Variety’s Day at the Races was started in 1998 as a way for members and prospective members to enjoy an afternoon with friends and colleagues. Each year more than 350 people meet turf–side at the picturesque Santa Anita Park for this exciting event.

The 2011 Day at the Races took place on Saint Patrick’s Day, Thursday March 17th. Over 400 people put on their green and came out to support Variety of Southern CA. Our 2011 Honoree was Alan Grossberg with UltraStar Cinemas.
